Named after the lovely old Tamarisk tree which tumbles over the stone wall, this 18th Century mellow stone house is situated in the centre of the rural village of Vibrac, which is surrounded by vineyards on the Charente river.

It is a two minute walk to the river where there is fishing, kayaking and swimming.  The delightful small market towns of Chateauneuf sur Charante and Jarnac are nearby and the ancient towns of Cognac and Angoulême are a short drive away.

The courtyard is fully enclosed by a pantile-capped stone wall and has a swimming pool (with safety alarm), table tennis, table football, shaded eating area, plus sun loungers and barbecue.
